Vision

To change the way that clients experience their pension and the service proposition from their adviser.

The value of having a financial adviser is immeasurable when it comes to getting guidance on all aspects of our personal finances and the role of the adviser reaches way beyond the end products of a pension, investment or protection recommendation.

Financial education, financial awareness and financial fitness are all needed by clients but the challenge of the adviser is getting regular client touch-points to keep the client motivated throughout the year.

Mobile engagement amplifies the adviser’s digital brand, scales client engagement and boosts revenue, creating a value proposition that continually positions the adviser firmly in the clients mind.

Pension proposition

The adviser value proposition in individual and group pensions has remained static for decades.  The Pensions Man delivering the Annual Benefit Statement, a quick chat on AVC and in many cases that is it for another year.

It is not that employees are disengaged with their pension, they are disengaged with the way that it is delivered. Scheme members are connected digitally in every aspect of their lives yet with their adviser, the person who can have such a material impact on their pension, they see just once a year.

From our experience in the Australian market we have seen how advisers there and superannuation members connect. They are digitally connected, members have access to adviser updates at any time, guidance, and awareness and education are all part of the coaching of scheme members all enabled by simple mobile engagement.

With the advent of IROPS II and a shift to Master Trusts looming it is important to future proof the relationship with scheme members and though mobile engagement you can insure they remain clients for life..

Our Experience

Centric was founded in 2019 by Karl O Meara, a qualified ACCA accountant and Financial Adviser (QFA).

Karl has worked in the group pensions market for the past 25 years including Pensions Manger of FBD Life, MetLife and Marketing Director of Adviser + / PensionSource.

His work in the Australian Superannuation market provided invaluable experience in seeing future trends for employee benefits and the importance of the adviser service proposition in engaging and maintaining scheme members into the future.

The partnership with award winning IT services provider, Square Root Solutions, has enabled the development of the Engage Platform and employee App, which has proved a winning partnership for advisers.
